Creating a Subscriber Bonus – Leadpages / Create a report

How to Create a Bonus

How to Create a Bonus

Today we’re going to talk about creating a subscriber bonus. We all know that having a newsletter for your site, helps you keep in touch with visitors, and is a great way to get return visitors. There are many different ways you can bribe your visitors to visit, we’re going to talk about one of those ways, creating a report.

What to Write

Write about one of the top five problems that your clients / customers have. If you sell products, your customers have problems too! Example a jewelry store might write something about how to clean your jewelry. If you have trouble coming up with something, don’t hesitate to contact us.

How to Write It

Use Word or Google Docs.
Create an outline – 3 or 4 points.
Include pictures – if they’re pictures of you doing something, it works much better.
At the end MAKE SURE to include ALL of your contact information. Including a unique coupon will help you track where your sales are coming for – we talk some more about that below.

How to Save It / Post it

Save the document as a pdf. Then upload it to Aweber. Just follow along with the video it is pretty simple.

In a few days we’ll talk about a tool you can use to create landing pages. These landing / lead pages are where someone will come to after they click on a piece of your advertising.

Tracking your SALES

There are a variety of ways to track sales. On the internet, the ‘best’ way is to use a tracking URL – we’ll talk about those more when we do our first Facebook Ad to get some money. Some things you won’t be able to use a tracking url for – it’s impossible. You can track your sales though and here is the best way I’ve found to do it.

  1. Create a spreadsheet and share it with your employees. The best way to do this is to save it to the cloud and everyone accesses just that one, so when it changes, that is the only one that will change. We’ll use coupons to track things. Each coupon should be unique and when you create a new one, list it in your spreadsheet. You can use the same offer for the coupon, but the coupon code should be different.
  2. Train your employees so when they take a call, work on a lead, etc. make sure one of the first things they ask about is ‘do you have a coupon code’.
  3. As you advertise in different ways you’ll begin to learn more about what works (and what doesn’t). I had a client once that was complaining because we spent a little over $2,100 advertising during a month. I showed him the spreadsheet and his analytics numbers, proved to him that we had made around $6,000 during that month for his company and he didn’t complain again.

Using the example from the video – when people say they want an extra year of hosting and explain they found a coupon, we know exactly where they found the advertising.
